The good news is that now more and more diseases can be diagnosed and cured including a variety of cancer in our companion animal.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Fact:<\/strong> It has been found that half of dogs older than 10 years get cancer. While cats have a lower risk but once cats get cancer it most likely to be a severe one.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0<strong>Diagnosis and therapy:<\/strong> In case your pets have been diagnosed to have cancer, a close collaboration between doctor and pets owner is definitely essential in order to make a decision about the best method of treatment. It depends on the type of cancer developed in your cats and dogs, location and how much it spreads to other part of the body. Surgical procedure, chemotherapy or radiation may be one of the appropriate treatments.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0<strong>In case of chemotherapy<\/strong> we do our best to make your pets feel\u00a0more comfortable and get a minimum adverse effect from the products used. Normally, the side effect from chemotherapy is less in animal than in human. Common side effects seen include vomiting and diarrhea.
