Daily attention to teeth and mouth hygiene is the essential factor for oral health. Neglected oral hygiene will lead to dental problems such as tartar, gums infection, gums inflammation, gums recession, bad breath, discolored teeth, tooth pain and loss. Irritated and weakened gums allow bacteria to cross into the bloodstream and be carried through the body, potentially infecting internal organs such as the heart valves, livers, and kidneys.

Dear Dr. Pongpao, …I wish to offer my heartfelt thanks to you for the excellent service you have provided for my many dogs over the last two years. I have known many vets over the years: in England, Canada and now in Thailand, but you stand out as the complete and thorough professional. In addition to your skill as a veterinary, you always show concern and compassion in your handling of my dogs. You like your work and you accomplish it well. And I highly recommend Chotana Hospital to anyone seeking the best health care for their pets. …Best regards,
I’ve been taking my cat to this vet for almost 3 years and dr. Pongpao has always been great. Now moving the cat to EU and again he’s a great help!
When I got Eddie from the Care For Dogs Shelter the most important thing was to find a vet that we both liked and who would see us through whatever was in store for this little guy. He had already had a rough start to his life and I was determined to make whatever he had remaining to be as pain free and happy as I could.Dr. Pongpao Hosathitam came to me highly recommended and has been our primary caregiver for the past 8 years. He has seen us through the parasites Eddie came to me with, ticks after a stay with some outside dogs, we had our teeth cleaned and even had to pull a few. As Eddie has gotten older, he has developed liver problems and we are able to stay on top of this with prescription food and regular blood tests.I know when we return to the states that I will look back on the wonderful and caring people here in Chiangmai who have helped me with Eddie over the years. I will hope that I can find a vet there who can fill the shoes of the people at Chiangmai Chotana Animal Hospital.
